Teaching about the different seasons as they occur provides and supports student learning with real-life experience, especially when they can go outside to observe the differences between the seasons using their senses! Unfortunately, in some locations, students are not able to experience all of the different seasons. For example, in some areas, there may not be many trees to see the leaves changing colors. This is why it is beneficial to our students when we can provide these experiences through other means, such as stories, videos, and resources, within our speech room.
