TLC Talk Speech & Language, PLLC was established by Tamatha Cauckwell, MS CCC-SLP, a nationally certified ASHA speech-language pathologist licensed in North Carolina and California and is based in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. She graduated with her M.S degree in Communicative Sciences and Disorders in 2007 and has practiced in multiple settings including schools, daycares, early intervention in-home services, rehabilitation centers, and adult day programs.
We offer evidence-based, motivating, and functional Speech-Language Evaluations and Therapy sessions within the comfort of your home or day care. Our mission is to provide a family-focused therapy approach to build communication skills with care and creativity through therapeutic care in a supportive and engaging environment. We believe in the importance of family education, involvement, and the use of home practice to help children and adults meet their goals and improve their communication skills.

High quality speech and language services can be provided in-person at your home in Mills River, Fletcher, and the surrounding areas. Our convenient in-home services follow ethical best-practices by creating meaningful connections between opportunities available in the natural environment and your speech and language needs.
Do you live outside the area where we are unable to provide in-home services? I am a licensed and experienced speech therapist that can provide speech and language services following the telehealth model in North Carolina, Nevada, and California.
We are not contracted with insurance companies and will not bill your insurance. We can provide a detailed invoice for services that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
